Getting started
What is TrueStyleAI?
An AI style studio for barbers and salons. Customers see the looks that suit them on their own face, then book; your team gets a live queue, an AI cut guide, checkout and marketing tools in one platform.
Who is it for?
Barbershops, hair salons, unisex salons, independent stylists and multi-location groups.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes: add your services, invite your stylists, print your QR code.
Is it available in New Zealand?
Yes. TrueStyleAI is built in and for New Zealand, with NZD pricing and GST invoices.
For customers
Do customers need an app?
No. They scan your QR code and everything runs in their phone’s browser.
Can customers book without an account?
Yes. Quick booking needs only a name and email, and they can save the booking to an account afterwards.
How does the AI consultation work?
Customers take three photos (front, left and right). The AI reads face shape, hair type, length and beard and recommends looks that suit, previewed on their own face in 360° and before & after.
Can they preview hair colour?
Yes. Colour looks are part of the style catalogue.
Can they choose their stylist and time?
Yes. Live stylist cards show who’s free and the wait; customers can join the queue or pick any day and time you take bookings.
For your salon
Does TrueStyleAI replace the stylist?
No. It gives everyone a clear shared reference and a step-by-step cut guide. The stylist still advises and performs the service.
Can I take deposits and charge no-show fees?
Yes. Set your policy once; deposits and fees are paid straight into your own Stripe account.
Can I sell products?
Yes. Customers can add products to their visit, and stylists can add them at checkout.
Does it work for more than one location?
Yes. Group owners see every branch side by side from one login.
Privacy and billing
What happens to customer photos?
Photos are used to create the customer’s previews and their visit history. They are private to your salon and never shown publicly unless the customer agrees to share their before-and-after.
How am I billed?
Monthly or yearly by card, with GST invoices on the Membership page. You can upgrade or cancel any time.
What if I run out of AI previews?
Paid plans can add extra preview packs at any time.
